Mark Cuban is an American businessman and investor who is best known for his role as the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, a professional basketball team, and as a panelist on the television show Shark Tank. Cuban is also the co-founder of several successful companies, including HDNet and Broadcast.com.

Cuban’s path to becoming a billionaire was not a straightforward one. He grew up in a working-class family in Pennsylvania and attended Indiana University, where he studied business administration.
