Gigafactory vs Microfactory: Arrival Rethinks How an EV is Built.

This is a very interesting perspective how a microfactory can challenge the notion that large factories are needed to efficiently manufacture vehicles.  Look at the factories of Tesla, Ford and Toyota and they are all very proud of the size of their factories.  These immense factories are all very impressive.   The electric vehicle (EV) company Arrival is rethinking how cars are manufactured and using microfactories.  This is a great perspective on supply chain because the design of the vehicles are integrated with the manufacturing process right from the start.  This is a good video to watch to see how looking at a problem from a different lense can provide innovative ways that people thought were once impossible.  “It always seems impossible until it is done.” ~Nelson Mandela
